Background of the Libro Libre Project

Below are photos taken at Dalid Elementary School, Calinog, Iloilo, Philippines, one of the recipient schools of the
Libro Libre Project: Books Without Borders Book Drive.

Due to limited educational materials specifically textbooks in most public elementary schools in rural areas
in the Philippines, students have to share them with classmates in the classroom. This elementary school has no school library at the moment.
